APD intervention
The APD intervention consists of an individualised programme designed according to the results of the APD assessment. Overall, the programme can include:

- A series of recommendations to be implemented daily in different situations. All those strategies are based on your strengths and weaknesses concerning the key listening aspects assessed during the evaluation. It might include the use of listening assistive devices.
- 8 to 12 sessions of deficit-specific auditory training, delivered once a week in the clinic. This training, delivered through an audiometer, laptop and tablet, is designed to progressively and smoothly improve all those impaired listening skills. The need for these sessions is considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on the results of the Auditory Processing Assessment.
- Auditory tasks to be completed daily at home with the help of the Patient's portal on this website (see the item "login"). You will receive a login and password to access and complete the daily activities scheduled for you.
- Post-training assessment to check your performance progress at the end of the management programme.
